We are so excited to announce the Prairie Skyline Foundation's First Annual Virtual Talent Show Fundraiser! We hope to provide a great fundraising event that will bring people together while sharing Artistic and Creative talents.

YOU'RE INVITED!
As we navigate through these difficult days, the Prairie Skyline Foundation Board of Directors would like to give you and your loved ones an opportunity to share your TALENTS, to get CREATIVE, and to have FUN! We encourage you to get everyone involved (while practicing social distancing, of course!) Parents, get your kids involved. Kids, get your parents involved. Get your friends involved. Get your pets involved. Just have fun!

WHAT KIND OF TALENT CAN I SUBMIT?

We want to see whatever talent you have that you can show us on video! We encourage you to involve the people you’re social distancing with and GET CREATIVE! Ideas include and are definitely NOT LIMITED to:

  • Sing a song

  • Dance

  • Create a fun skit with your family

  • Recite a poem (original or not)

  • Make a time lapse video of you painting/drawing, etc.

  • Tell jokes

  • Perform a monologue

  • Create & tell a great story

HOW DO I SUBMIT MY ACT?

Simply Complete our Sign Up Form by clicking the button above!

​*Videos will only be accepted in the form of Google Drive.


*Video File Types accepted: .MOV, .MPEG4, .MP4, .AVI, .WMV

HOW DO I VOTE FOR MY FAVORITE ACTS?

When we receive all the submissions, we will post all the videos at the top of this page. Each video will have a unique DONATE link under it:

$1 = 1 Vote; $5 = 5 votes; etc…

ROUND ONE VOTING (April 2-8)

  • All contestants will compete for ONE week.

  • During Round One, the public will vote for their favorite video!


SEMI FINALS (April 9-15)

  • 10 Semi-Finalists will compete for ONE week.

  • The 5 contestants that raise the most money in Round One

  • 5 contestants chosen by our panel of judges

  • During the Semi-Finals, the public will vote for their favorite video!

FINALS (April 20-23)

  • 2 Finalists will compete for 4 days.

  • The 2 contestants that raise the most money in the semi-finals

  • During the Finals, the public will vote for their favorite video!

CONTEST RULES:

  1. Participation in the talent show is FREE!

  2. Videos must be no longer than 5 minutes.

  3. Submissions DUE by 11:59pm (CDT) on March 31st.

  4. Only ONE submission per person. However, you are allowed to “support” someone else in their submission (play an instrument, play a character, etc).

  5. Submissions must be “family friendly.” Submissions that break this rule will be automatically disqualified. (No cursing or anything inappropriate for a family event.) 

  6. Video/Production quality will not count against you in our judging! We want to see your gifts, and if video production isn’t your gift - you won’t be penalized! (If video/production IS your gift, then impress us!)

  7. By sending your submission, you give the Prairie Skyline Foundation permission to post your video to our public YouTube Channel.

  8. Please be aware to abide by copyright laws when utilizing recorded music in your videos. For instance, if a copyrighted song is added to a video after recording, YouTube likely will not allow us to post it. 

THE GRAND FINALE!

On the night of April 23, the 2 Finalists will be interviewed at our LIVE Online Event and the Grand Prize Winner will be announced!

March 31st - Submissions due by 11:59pm
April 2nd - Round One Voting Begins at 12:00pm
April 8th - Round One Voting Ends at 11:59pm
April 9th - Semi-Finals Voting Begins at 12:00am
April 15th - Semi-Finals Voting Ends at 11:59pm
April 20th - Finals Voting Begins at 12:00pm
April 22nd - Finals Voting Goes Blind at 3:00pm
April 23rd - Finals Voting Ends at 7:30pm
